Celebrate Jesus is a multi-church ministry to the Port Orchard area. In
order to present the program to the community over the five nights, around
two hundred volunteers are needed each evening to staff the various
scenes from Shepherds to the Ascension scene. Thus, our primary need is
for volunteers each evening. Many churches and individuals join together
and volunteer each year to tell the story.

If you are interested in joining us, just fill out the form above, e-mail us
or phone our office at 360-876-2604 and we will plug you into “Celebrate
Jesus.” Most of the volunteer parts are simple to step into and require no
experience or memorization. We will provide the costumes and
directions for your part.
All volunteers are asked to arrive at the Port Orchard Church of Christ
around 5:00 p.m. on the evening they will serve. Full directions and
costuming information will be provided when you arrive. The evening
presentation lasts from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm, breaks will be provided for
all volunteers along with a free hot soup and refreshments in the
basement of the church building.
Participating in this event is a wonderful way to tell the story of Jesus
to thousands at Christmas time with such little effort! If you or your
group would like to volunteer for one night or all five nights we will
always have room for you. Come “Celebrate Jesus” with us this year He
is the “Reason for the Season.”
