Praise & Worship Ministry

Worship is our response to God for all that he is and all that he has done for us in Jesus. It is our
mission to thoughtfully present this gift to him each Sunday and to equip the congregation through
training in music and worship. We strive for excellence to give God our best in all we do and have a
number of areas through which we accomplish this. If you are interested in any of these ministries,

Praise Team
    The purpose of this group is to effectively lead and model worship each Sunday morning.
    The Praise Team receives the plan for worship each Thursday via e-mail and rehearses
    Sunday mornings at 7:30 prior to first worship. Many people are involved in this ministry,
    and we are always looking for more singers to join us. An informal audition and some
    former experience are recommended for this group.

Adult Chorus
    The Adult Chorus rehearses during the Christmas season and is for anyone ninth grade
    through adult who likes to sing. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:00PM
    beginning in October and working toward two performances in December. No prior
    experience or training is necessary to join this group.

Drama
    For special events and occasional Sundays throughout the year, we incorporate drama into
    the worship experience. The Drama Team does not currently meet on a regular basis but
    gets together to rehearse when a dramatic presentation is needed.

Technology
    The purpose of this ministry is to enhance the worship experience through the use of
    modern technology, including audio, video, computer, and lighting.


Music & Drama Camp
    This camp is for grades 1-6 and is offered the last week in June each year. The campers
    learn songs and skits based on the theme of that year and receive valuable training in the
    areas of music and drama. On Friday night, we present a performance for family and
    friends. The presentation includes skits and songs and a combined number by the Camp
    Rhythm Band. The registration fee is kept low so that all from our community who are
    interested can attend. You won’t want to miss this wonderful event!
